Photography came first.

Motorcycles followed, and somewhere between riding to work and traveling trough mountains they became inseparable.

I’m Jane Duursma, a full time photographer who feels most at home with a camera in her hand.

To me, a motorcycle is never just transport. It is an invitation to leave, to arrive differently, to feel everything a bit more intense.

The crisp air, the responce of the throttle, the ticking once the engine cools down.

Through my work, I translate that feeling into images. I chase light, capture moments that only exist when you slow down enough.
